What is the reverse engineering?
Reverse Engineering enables us to offer a complete service from the design phase and to work applying a co-design approach. An ad-hoc software get the CAD maths of an item from a physical object.
Through our Reverse Engineering service we can also satisfy duplication needs when there is no tecnica drawing.
How Does Reverse Engineering Work?
- Three-dimensional scanning of the object using a projector. Lighting patterns hit the sample while cameras take pictures of it. At a later time the point cloud is converted into a triangular model using a specific software.
- We convert the triangular mesh into a quadrangualr one using a CAD software.
- Extrapolation of the maths that will be used to design the tool.
- Our FT.IR spectrometer can be used to get details about the material of the sample.
